11.6 Snapshots

Take a manual snapshot of the instance and restore from it. The page states up front that Linode keeps exactly one manual snapshot per instance, so a new snapshot replaces the existing one, and shows the configured snapshot limit when one is set. An in-progress snapshot is listed separately while it completes.
