8. Update Instructions

The module updates itself through the WHMCS daily cron job. To update manually:

Back up modules/addons/domain_reseller/.

Upload the new version over it, replacing the existing files. Keep your assets folder so your custom logo is not lost.

Open the module and confirm the new version on the Info tab.

The licence key persists across updates — it is stored in the database, not in a file. Resellers do not need to reinstall their registrar module unless you are told otherwise in the release notes.
