Domain Addons

WHMCS offers three optional extras alongside a domain — DNS Management, Email Forwarding and ID Protection — and this tab sets what the group pays for them. Prices are per addon, per year, and are added on top of the domain price whenever the reseller enables that addon on a registration, transfer or renewal.

Which addons a TLD offers is taken from WHMCS itself, under Configuration → System Settings → Domain Pricing. An addon that is not ticked there for a given extension is never charged and never sent with the order, even if the reseller requests it.

The group’s discounts apply to addon prices exactly as they apply to domain prices: a TLD’s Override Discount takes precedence, otherwise the group’s global Register, Transfer and Renewal percentages are used.

A registration period longer than one year multiplies the addon price, because the stored figure covers a single year. A two year registration with ID Protection at 2.00 therefore adds 4.00 to the invoice.

This tab follows the same rule as the per-TLD price grid: it is only editable when the group’s Pricing Method is Override With Own Pricing Slab. With Use Default WHMCS Pricing Slab the fields are greyed out and WHMCS’s own domain addon pricing is used as the base price, with the group’s discounts still applied on top.
