Response Templates

Every error the API can return has a template. By default the underlying registrar message is passed through to the reseller; supply a replacement to hide provider details or to give your resellers a clearer, branded message instead.

Template Name — the internal identifier, for example RegisterDomain_Error. Read-only.

Replace Response — the text sent to the reseller instead of the original error. Leave empty to pass the original message through unchanged.

Templates cover registrar actions (registration, transfer, renewal, DNS, nameservers, contacts) and module-level failures such as invalid API key, IP not whitelisted, forbidden action, forbidden TLD and licence errors.
