Customization Tab

Available for every template, and the primary place to adjust styling.

Template CSS Variables — a searchable list of every colour variable the active template defines, shown separately for light and dark mode with a swatch, a copy button, and (for anything you add yourself) a delete button. Use Re-scan template CSS if you change the template’s stylesheets afterwards.

Add a Variable — registers a variable name the automatic scan could not detect, for example one only used inline or stored in the database.

Variable Mapping — one row per style variable the portal uses, grouped under headings such as Brand, Backgrounds & Surfaces, Text, Borders, Corners, Shadows, Spacing, Typography, Motion, Buttons, Alerts, Status Badges, Tables and Inline Icons. Map a row to a Template variable to inherit the template’s own value, or set a Fixed value to override it outright — a fixed value always takes priority. Press Save Mapping to apply.
